Yes. Cllr Ray Blackman put their name to it on 12 October 2026: "Zionism is not racism. I call on the Green Party to reverse its "Zionism is Racism" motion." In their own words: "I unequivocally oppose antisemitism and call on the Green Party to reverse its motion\. Jewish people, like all peoples, have the right to safety, dignity and self-determination. For many, Zionism expresses that right; it does not mean endorsing every Israeli government policy. I support Palestinian rights and the freedom of all oppressed peoples. These principles must apply equally. Criticism of Israel is legitimate, but must not become hostility towards Jews or deny them rights afforded to others."

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism". It brands as racism the belief, held by around nine in ten British Jews, that the Jewish people have the right to a homeland of their own, and binds the party to treat that belief "as any other form of racism". Councillors and MPs of every other party are being asked to say, in public, that Zionism is not racism.
