Yes. Cllr James Wright put their name to it on 13 October 2026: "Zionism is not racism. I call on the Green Party to reverse its "Zionism is Racism" motion." In their own words: "I firmly believe that Zionism is not racism, but rather the fundamental expression of the Jewish people’s right to self-determination in their historic homeland. The Green Party’s recent conference vote to declare Zionism as racism is deeply divisive, alienates Jewish communities, and undermines the path toward a peaceful, negotiated two-state solution. I call on the Green Party leadership to listen to its own MPs, reverse this counterproductive motion, and return the party’s focus to environmental and social progress"

On 4 October 2026 the Green Party of England and Wales passed a motion declaring that "Zionism is racism". It brands as racism the belief, held by around nine in ten British Jews, that the Jewish people have the right to a homeland of their own, and binds the party to treat that belief "as any other form of racism". Councillors and MPs of every other party are being asked to say, in public, that Zionism is not racism.
